Standing
A record the Council stands behind
Your company enters the register only after a member of our team has read the registration documents themselves. What was checked is written down, and it is dated and attributable.
The Council keeps a register of companies and principals it has checked, and makes the introductions between them in its own name. Admission is by invitation. Nothing of yours is published until our team has verified it, and how much is published at all is set by you.
How membership works
Nothing is skipped and nothing is implied. A candidacy becomes a listed member company only after the fee is paid and our team has finished the verification.
Your company is not published to the directory when you sign up, and it is not published when you pay. Both the payment and the staff review have to be complete first. Until then your candidacy is visible to you and to our team, and to nobody else.
Trade between strangers is expensive. The Council makes it less so.
Membership is by invitation and review. Every company on the register has been checked by our team against its own registration documents, and what was checked is written down: the date, the documents on file, and the person who signed it off.
The Council takes no position in anything its members trade. It holds the record, it keeps the record honest, and it hands the record to anyone a member gives the address to.

What membership carries
Standing
Your company enters the register only after a member of our team has read the registration documents themselves. What was checked is written down, and it is dated and attributable.
Introductions
The Council introduces, prepared on both sides, rather than handing you an inbox to write into. Both parties have passed the same review before either is named to the other.
Nomination
A seat in the Chamber carries the right to nominate, and the invitation is issued in your name rather than in ours. The circle grows only by the judgement of the people already in it.
Discretion
Three levels, changed by you whenever you like, up to and including being known to nobody at all. It is the value the query reads, not a preference we record and apply.
The membership fee
The fee covers the term of membership. Nothing is owed until the Council has read your letter and chosen to invite you.
With thanks
The Council's programmes are supported by the people and institutions below, each of whom asked to be named. Amounts are never published.
Request a candidacy
The Council admits by invitation, so this opens no account. Tell us who you are, what your company trades and where it is registered. A member of our team reads every request and writes back.
